Tool Invasion

I have been spending a tremendous number of hours at the office this past week, only returning home to sleep.  During this interruption of my presence on the home front, my younger son's tools have invaded the kitchen.  There are Japanese sharpening stones underwater in the sink.

The counter next to the stove is littered with a shop knife, a sharpening jig, a sharpening stone, a steel honing plate, a plane blade and a mysterious slotted tool (at the right) from Sheffield, England.

And the kitchen table is now a sharpening station for straight razors.

Perhaps I should pay my son back in his own coin and eat my dinner at the workbench in the garage.
