Slow, steady progress is being made on The Interior Painting Project.  The living room is about done, except for some minor touch up items requiring a tiny brush.

Here is yours truly leaning over, in defiance of gravity and common sense, to reach the edge of the elevated ceiling.  I am applying primer with a paint brush duct-taped to a stirring stick.

There is a special Providence that protects the old and foolish.

The Interior Painting Project Part 8

My younger son is a suburban blacksmith.  In support of The Interior Painting Project, he designed and crafted a custom hook to fasten my paint can to a ladder step when I am performing feats of high altitude painting.

It's quite an excellent hook, both beautiful and effective.  It holds the paint can securely beside the ladder for easy reach.
